Since February 2011 a new European directive (ECE-R87) requires
that all new car models must be equipped with Daytime Running
Lights (DRL) to increase safety on the road. Also existing car and
truck models can be equipped with Daytime Running Lights. The
Quintezz LED DRL 108 retrofit set has an aluminum housing which

DIM-function: the DRL lamps only shine 100% when the vehicle lights

switched on, the brightness of the DRL lamps is automatically
reduced with 70%.
